Harold Ridley moved from Godalming (MPC code 994) to Eastfield in
1979 and the Eastfield observatory was in use until shortly before his
death in 1995 (obituary).
It contained a 15cm refractor used to guide a camera with a Zeiss 18cm f/7 lens.
Afterwards the house was sold to another astronomer and the dome at the
original location is still visible in GoogleEarth images taken in April
2020.
