P/2003 A1
Possibly identical to the lost comet D/1783 W1 (Pigott) this comet was
found in the evening sky by LINEAR on 05 Jan 2003 and followed at Great
Shefford from Jan 25 to Mar 14 when it disappeared behind the westerly
tree line.
By the time the last astrometry was made at the beginning of April 2003
before the comet was in conjunction with the sun the identification with
D/1783 W1 was still not resolved.
