Minor Planet Occultations

(62151) 2000 SZ20 on 30 March 2024

Asteroid (62151) 2000 SZ20 is a small asteroid, only about 4.4 km in diameter and the maximum duration of the occultation was very short, predicted to be 0.40 s. The observed 0.44 ± 0.16 s occultation implies the telescope was close to the centre line of the asteroid's shadow.
