C/2004 Q1 (Tucker)
Discovered by Roy Tucker on 23 August 2004 at Goodricke-Pigott
Observatory in Arizona during a lull in LINEAR activity enforced
by the regular summer monsoon in the southern US.
He has been very
successful with his 'MOTESS' setup (Moving Object
and Transient Event Search System)
having discovered several Near Earth Asteroids recently (2003 UY12
and 2004 MP7).
